Approval and Materials: We ask families to seek prior approval from cemetery management for all monuments, grave markers, and headstones to ensure they meet cemetery standards. Only granite or bronze attached to granite is allowed. Materials such as marble, concrete, artificial stone, or other substances are not permitted.

Design and Inscription: Monuments should not contain vulgar language or inappropriate emblems, such as satanic symbols, profane images, or offensive language, to maintain the respectful environment of the cemetery.

Construction and Installation: To ensure safe and stable placement, monuments must be set on a concrete foundation no higher than one inch below the ground’s lowest surface point. Upright monuments must not exceed five feet in height or 75% of the burial space width, whichever is less, and must have a die thickness of at least six inches. Flat markers must be flush with the ground, and lettering must be recessed on stone markers; letters on bronze markers may be raised, but Pineview Memory Gardens cannot assume liability for potential damage.

Size and Positioning: Memorials may not exceed 75% of the width of the burial space. Only one memorial is permitted per interment in flat gardens. Markers, whether stone or bronze, must be at least 24 inches long by 12 inches wide, with exceptions made for children’s graves (minimum 4 inches by 8 inches). All markers should be centered on their concrete foundations.

Permanent Memorial Requirement: A permanent memorial must be installed within 24 months of burial. Families who may need additional time are kindly requested to provide verification that an order has been placed. Cemetery staff will follow up if compliance has not been met.

Installation by Cemetery Personnel: For consistent quality and safety, only Pineview Memory Gardens personnel are authorized to install monuments. Outside vendors must coordinate delivery with the cemetery office.

Outside Vendor Disclaimer: Pineview Memory Gardens holds no responsibility for monuments ordered from outside vendors that have not been permitted in advance by cemetery management. We kindly request families to confirm cemetery requirements before placing orders with outside vendors.
